A ballot package containing voting instructions, your ballot, a prepaid return envelope, and the Candidate Statement Voter Pamphlet will be mailed to the address we have on file for you on November 4, 2022. CalPERS members (excluding survivors and beneficiaries) retired as of October 1, 2022, are eligible to vote in the runoff election.
 
Voting is open from November 4, 2022, until December 5, 2022. Your vote must be received by mail, telephone, or online by 11:59 p.m. PT on December 5, 2022, to be counted. Only the first vote received will be counted.
 
You’ll need your PIN to vote, which can be:
  • Retrieved online in a few simple and easy steps.
  • Found on the official ballot included in the ballot package.
  • Requested by calling the CalPERS Board Election Call Center at (877) 610-8637.

3 Ways To Vote

Vote By Mail

  • Follow the instructions in the official ballot and submit your ballot in the return envelope provided.
  • If you damage or lose your official ballot or ballot return envelope, you may request a replacement ballot package from the CalPERS Board Election Call Center at (877) 610-8637.
  • Don’t request a replacement ballot if you’ve already mailed your official ballot or voted online or by phone.
  • Call (833) 442-4829 and follow the automated voice instructions.
  • You’ll need your PIN, which can be found on the official ballot included in the ballot package.
  • Eligible voters will have access when voting begins on November 4, 2022.
